Race Day Format:
Please note the following will be in place every Race Day.
Please make use of the area behind the canteen for unloading your
karts etc. Once this is done please park your car anywhere either
around the track or the top car park, do not leave your car and trailer
in this area.
Gates Open: 7am
Pit Gates Close: 8am to trailers
Scrutineering: 7.15am to 8.30am prior to nominating
Sign In: 7.15am to 8.30am (kart must be scrutineered before)
Officials Brief: 8.45am
Drivers Brief: 9am
Racing Starts: 9.30 – 10am
No trailers are allowed in the pits.
Gates will not re-open for car/trailer entry until the all karts have finished racing.

Senior Driver: $30.00
Junior/Rookie: $20.00
Extra Class: $10.00
Late Nomination Fee: $20.00 extra
Open Meetings
Nominations for open meetings are by mail only and close prior to race day, please check the closing date on prospectus.

Due to the large number of nominations we are currently experiencing on race days the DTKC executive committee have made some changes to the format to ensure we get all 5 rounds of racing in as best we can.
To do this so you ALL get your racing in we need your help as well with the changes below.

Pit gates close to all vehicles at 7.30am
No vehicles to enter the lower pit area at all, due to new road base that has been put down.
Duty people must be there at 7.45am & report to the president on arrival to have your name ticked off & receive your detail for the day.
Officials brief at 8am SHARP.
Scrutineering times closes at 8.15am SHARP.
Nominations closes at 8.15am SHARP.
Drivers brief 8.30am SHARP.
Racing starts at 9am SHARP.

Updated Pit Rules
DTKC has pit rules on vehicles and trailers in the pits.
Rules that have been in place for a couple of years now but have never been enforced. Events in recent weeks have necessitated DTKC enforcing the following.
Trailers are NOT permitted to be left in the pit area during race meetings. You may enter the pits with your trailer, unload then remove both your vehicle and trailer from the pits. This must be done before 7.30 am on race days, gates will now be locked until the completion of the last race. The only exception to this are Dealer Trailers, whilst allowed to be in the pit area during race meetings they too will be locked in during the race meeting. No vehicle is allowed back into the pits until last kart has left the track.
Exits in case of emergency are through the smaller entry at the southern end and the gate adjacent the canteen on the northern side. An Emergency exit plan will be posted for all to see.
A pit plan and allocation sheet has been put together and is posted at the club for all to see. Allowing visiting competitors to find a vacant bay without claiming an allocated bay. This plan will also allow competitors to move bays if they wish by looking at the plan then requesting to be moved. Preference will be given to current long time bay holders.
